The Green Chinese School, a California-registered heritage school, originated in the Los Altos, California community in 2011. Our school provides Mandarin Chinese classes and enrichment classes for children attending kindergarten through 5th grade. Founded with over 20 years of child education experience and focused on unsurpassed teaching quality, Green has gained popularity and built a solid reputation in the San Francisco Bay Area. Parents and students share our pride at being a truly community-based program, with local teachers who speak native Chinese, small-size classes, and a low student-to-teacher ratio to enable individualized attention and interactive learning experiences for each and every student.

Experienced, responsible, and passionate teachers are the cornerstone of our success. Our diverse group of faculty are carefully selected based on their experiences in interacting with both Chinese and English-speaking students. Each faculty member also specializes in a core subject or enrichment curriculum, and is encouraged to think outside-the-box by integrating their specialty into unique yet effective teaching styles.
